Hi! My name is Kirsty Finn and I live with my gorgeous nephew Jude who has autism.

Last year after a difficult summer for Jude which he spent mostly alone with no one to play with, my sister Theresa, Jude and I went along to an Áirc event in Athlone and for the first time in weeks we had a day out where he wasn’t stared at or judged and was free to be himself and meet other kids of all different abilities in the same boat. Áirc is a great charity ran by even greater people who work tirelessly to help others and that’s why I volunteer to help whatever way I can (usually a lot of baking 🤣).
